Just an annoying little technical issue: every time I click to this front page of the blog, this video clip is loading and running; can that be fixed?

Thanks Bryan. Mmm. Still auto-loading. Must be my set up - probably my computer made by socialists. Once this goes off the front page it won't matter. Cheers.

The no change stance was surprising... to say the least. I didn't believe anything short of 100bps would have affected borrowing rates. I did think, however that it would help with exports and foreigners looking to spend here.

All in all I'm happy with the RBNZ announcement. Saving will be encouraged and there is little danger of reinflating a housing bubble that has no real legs. Times will be tough, but I'm glad we aren't revving up the printing presses.
