Gentlemen: I have taken it off the home page of the blog as setting the Autostart parameter to false doesn't seem to prevent it from starting. We get this video from a third party so I can't control how it is served unfortunately.

It's that shonky gear the RBNZ use Bryan. I think Alan bought it on his last trip to China from one of those street markets.
In defence of the RBNZ
In defence of the RBNZ they do a very professional job of broadcasting the press conference: they are continually improving the presentation and technology. The issue is with the embed stream, I will pass your feedback along to R2. Here is a photo of the set post-presser:

The no change stance was
The no change stance was surprising... to say the least. I didn't believe anything short of 100bps would have affected borrowing rates. I did think, however that it would help with exports and foreigners looking to spend here.
All in all I'm happy with the RBNZ announcement. Saving will be encouraged and there is little danger of reinflating a housing bubble that has no real legs. Times will be tough, but I'm glad we aren't revving up the printing presses.
