Bernard Hickey presents to NZ Chemical Industry Council AGM on the need for Economic Reform
By Bernard Hickey
I regularly do paid speaking appearances for industry gatherings and functions. I prepare a 30-40 minute powerpoint presentation aimed at a specific audience with a specific message and then take questions. The industry body or council or corporate can then use that presentation in any of their publications and on their website.
My presentations are often focused on the global and New Zealand economies or on banking and finance. I often cover the residential property market and monetary policy. One other topic I'm asked to talk about is social media and the growing power and usefulness of blogs, Twitter and Youtube.
Today I spoke to an audience of about 100 delegates to the New Zealand Chemical Industry Council about the need for economic reform in New Zealand. The powerpoint I presented is below. I have also included below recent presentations to other bodies.
If you're interested in me presenting to a function or event you are organising, feel free to email me at bernard.hickey@interest.co.nz or call me on mobile 021 866 051.
Here is a presentation I gave last week to an audience at Massey University about online publishing and the changing world of media.
Here's a presentation I gave to a Bayleys conference in February.
Here is a presentation I gave to the Property Institute of New Zealand in June.
Here is a presentation I gave to the Public Relations Institute in Auckland on June 18 about the value of social media.

Hey Bernard yes the South
Hey Bernard
yes the South African fella at the conference,
You hit the mark in your own inimitable style.
Yes you ate your hat concerning the 30% drop in house prices but really, you should stick to your guns on that score.
I reckon the timing of the inevitable drop in house prices is all that is in question. It isn't 'if' but 'when' ...
Cheers, Bruce
Many thanks Bruce. Nice to
Many thanks Bruce.
Nice to meet you.
We'll get to the 30%. It will just take some time.
cheers
Bernard
