Bernard Hickey delivers an economic weather report in association with ASB, including a look the latest figures from the State Services Commission showing staff growth in the state sector slowed again in the year to June, but is still growing much faster than the rest of the economy despite the election of the National Government.

That may not last though as Bill English prepares a tough 2010 budget.
