Interview: Bruce McKay of Viaduct Capital talks to Bernard Hickey

Bernard Hickey talks to Bruce McKay, the joint Managing Director of Viaduct Capital, about how the property financier operates and the risks involved for investors.

Viaduct Capital, which does not have a government guarantee, has relaunched its prospectus after being absent from the market. Viaduct Capital’s deposit guarantee was withdrawn by Treasury in April and its then Chief Executive Nick Wevers has since left the company. McKay talks about the guarantee situation and the future for Viaduct Capital.

    Not a good sign when he couldn’t answer why they had lost the government guarantee.

    Was not impressed with answers given by Viaduct CEO having lost money in similar companys I am not interested in repeating my mistakes
