Adrienne Duarte, BNZ's chief financial officer, to leave the bank next month

BNZ says its chief financial officer Adrienne Duarte is leaving the bank.

Duarte, who joined from parent National Australia Bank, has been BNZ's CFO for five years. She leaves on July 7.

Peter MacGillivray, BNZ’s chief operating officer for finance, will be acting CFO while the bank seeks Duarte's permanent replacement.

BNZ isn't saying what Duarte's future plans are.

Misread it as Duterte first time round. Most confusing moment of my day by far.
