5) Affordable housing
One of my dreams is to build an eco-friendly house in the woods. Money of course is the biggest obstacle.
I was therefore heartened to see this lovely Hobbit House design (shown above) built on a budget of £3,000. What's more, the house was built in four months.

That is a delightful looking house. Not sure about the 3000 quid though, it looks to me like you would have to price in the lifestyle block, which it looks like has provided the timber. The use of a fire for space heating is a flaw, as with correct design it could be done with passive solar.
Bloody good effort though for someone with no training. Makes a mockery of building industry.
