Wellington market is recently promoted on news quite often
I was wondering why
The power of media indicate the direction and where the hot money should flow

Mastery, Wellington highest average and median wage in country above Auckland. Main IT hub of NZ eg Xero, Weta workshops, CricHQ etc. Can buy a 4 bedroom brick and tile house for less than replacement cost in decile 8 or above school zone. Lower crime rate than Auckland. Overall Wgtn would have the best fundamentals relative to present property price levels in the country.
