Description |
The NZ Local Government Funding Agency Ltd (LGFA) was enabled under the Local Government Borrowing Act 2011 and was incorporated on 1 December 2011. The LGFA is owned by 18 Local Authority Councils and the Crown. It is a Council Controlled Organisation (COO) operating under the Local Government Act 2002. The LGFA’s primary purpose is to provide more efficient funding costs and diversified funding sources (including foreign currency) for NZ local authorities. |
