Video: Grim news for major OECD economies

Dow down 1% in late afternoon trade, oil down to US$38 per barrel. NZ$ down on Euro weakness, set to fall over the day.

Grim unemployment data for OECD: US at 7.2%; France at 7.9%, Germany at 7.1%; Japan at 4%.

Leading indicator data out: US, Europe, Japan down 7 index points. China, India, Russia down 13 points.
