BNZ names Annie Brown from within to replace its departing 'director of people'

BNZ has made an internal appointment to its executive team, naming Annie Brown as replacement for its outgoing human resources boss.

The bank says Brown, currently its "head of engagement," will replace Louise Harvey-Wills who leaves in July to take up a role as "executive general manager for people and talent" at BNZ's parent National Australia Bank. Brown's new title will be "director of people and communications." Harvey-Wills' current title is "director of people." She has held the role since June 2009.

Brown has previously worked for the Accident Compensation Corporation and NZ Post as well as working as a consultant advising government agencies. Her appointment is subject to Reserve Bank approval.
