Colliers commercial property sales provided investors with net yields of 5.66% to 9%

The Sydenham Rugby League clubrooms in Christchurch was one of the more unusual properties recently sold by Colliers International.

The 700 square metre clubrooms on Colombo St were built in the 1960s but had suffered earthquake damage and were offered for sale on an "as is, where is" basis.

They were purchased for $900,000 by The Well Church which plans to refurbish the building and convert it into a church.

Until now the church has been holding its services in a local school.

Other sales recently completed by Colliers ranged from a strata office suite in a heritage building in Auckland's CBD, to a vacant site in Queenstown that was already consented for a hotel development.
