NZ's newest bank, Heartland, to adopt 'Heartland Bank' name from January 31

Heartland Building Society says its name will change to Heartland Bank Limited from January 31.
The move comes after the building society, formed through the merger of Marac Finance, CBS Canterbury and the Southern Cross Building Society in January 2011, was granted banking registration by the Reserve Bank in December.
