Westpac first to lower credit card rates after OCR cut

Westpac was the first bank to lower its credit card rates after the record 150 basis point cut in the Official Cash Rate by the Reserve Bank. Westpac lowered its main Visa and Mastercard rates by 0.75% - half of the OCR cut - from 21.90% to 21.15%. The changes are effective December 5. For comprehensive credit card rates see here.
