Interesting Mortgagee data over at 'unconditional'

Many thanks to Alastair Helm in his 'unconditional' blog for putting together some interesting data on mortgagee sales and searches for "mortgagee" on realestate.co.nz. We have been collecting data from both realestate.co.nz and trademe.co.nz since March 10, which has shown a near doubling of listings. However, Alastair has gone back in his databases to get a longer series, which shows mortgagee listings being flat for most of 2007 before accelerating sharply from January. He also shows how searching for "mortgagee" is a significant area of interest for property buyers now.[ad#rss-feed-promoter]
