TSB the latest bank to increase two to five-year home loan rates

TSB Bank is the latest bank to increase advertised fixed-term residential mortgage rates, lifting its two, three, four and five-year interest rates by five, 25, 20 and 30 basis points, respectively.

TSB lifted its two-year rate to 5.50%, its three-year rate to 6.05%, its four-year rate to 6.30%, and its five-year rate to 6.60%.

TSB's increases come after BNZ raised its longer-term rates on Tuesday morning, and introduced a new three year "Classic" rate of 5.89%.

BNZ's latest increases come after it raised longer-term fixed mortgage rates as recently as July 2.

There have also been recent hikes by ASB and Westpac.
