A home unit in Hamilton fetched $300,000 at Bayleys' latest auctions but the cheapest sale in Auckland was a house in Papakura that went for $678,500

The cheapest home sold at Bayleys' latest auctions was a three bedroom unit with newly renovated bathroom and kitchen in Hamilton (pictured) that went for $300,000.

Down the road at Cambridge a renovated bungalow fetched $560,000 and a six bedroom pad with a pool and tennis court on a lifestyle block at Te Awamutu sold for $850,000.

Over on the coast a two bedroom apartment in a complex at Whitianga went for $450,000.

Up in Auckland the lowest price achieved at auction was $678,500 for a three bedroom brick and tile house at Papakura, while the top price of the week was $2.675 million for a four bedroom house with a pool at Orakei.
