The most expensive home auctioned by Bayleys last week was a Mt Maunganui house that went for $3.335 million

Bayleys auctioned 37 homes in their Auckland rooms last week and achieved sales on 17 of them, giving a clearance rate of 46%.

Prices started at 290,00 for an apartment in Whitianga that was a mortgagee sale. Of the properties located in Auckland, the cheapest was a three bedroom home in Glen Eden that went for $516,000.

A handful sold for more than $2 million, including properties in Parnell, Mt Eden and St Mary's Bay.

In Bayleys' Hamilton auction rooms a mix of houses and dairying properties were offered with all of the dairy units selling and most of the houses, with prices starting at $575,000.

At Bayleys' Tauranga auctions prices ranged from $468,000 for a two bedroom home at Greerton, to $3.335 million for a house with 1062 square metre section on Oceanbeach Rd in Mt Maunganui.

In Hawke's Bay prices started at $308,000 for a home in Central Napier, and went up to $840,000 for a house at Havelock North.
