Prices ranged from $137,000 for Grafton apartment to $6.75m for a block of Parnell apartments at Bayleys' Auckland auctions

Bayleys took 36 Auckland properties to auction over the last week and achieved sales on 18 of them, giving a clearance rate of 50%.

The properties that sold included a two bedroom brick and tile home unit in Mt Wellington that went for $560,000, a bungalow in Westmere that fetched $2.08 million and a block of nine apartments in Parnell that sold for $6.75 million. A three bedroom student apartment in Grafton that was subject to an existing management contract sold for $137,000.

South of Auckland, Bayleys sold several rural properties in the Waikato as well as family homes in Hamilton, Matamata and Hastings, with prices starting at $193,000 for a three bedroom house at Raureka in Hastings (pictured).
