Bernard Hickey details an economic weather report in association with ASB, including a look at a chart showing how retail spending is pulling out of its trough, partly because appliance sales are strengthening as the housing market picks up and interest rates are low. He also looks at how sales growth to cafes and restaurants has been sliding for a couple of years.
