TSB enters term deposit war with Kiwibank and Westpac

TSB yesterday moved to match a special term deposit offered by Kiwibank, announcing a 100 day term deposit at 4.75%. The offer is open until Friday and the minimum deposit is NZ$10,000. This was the latest move in a growing term deposit war that also saw Westpac enter the fray with a 4.80% 'chopper' rate for a 70 day term deposit.
