Bernard Hickey delves through employment data and finds unemployment up as expected to 4.6%, but employment growing unexpectedly and the workforce participation hitting a surprising record high. It seems employers are hoarding workers, while stay at home mums and dads and retirees are having to go back to work to make ends meet and rebuild savings.
