The wisdom of crowds: NZ$ to be 63.2 USc by end of 2008

The wisdom of crowds: NZ$ to be 63.2 USc by end of 2008

Our poll over the last week on where readers think the New Zealand dollar will be by the end of 2008 found they saw it at around 63.2 US cents. The highly unscientific opt in poll found the biggest number saw it at 65 US cents (82 votes) by the end of 2008, with the next biggest group (78 votes) seeing it at 60 US cents. There were 37 votes each for 70 US cents (where it is now) and 55 US cents by the end of 2008. Only 12 voters saw it at 75 US cents. The weighted average result for the poll was 63.2 US cents by the end of 2008. Our next poll (on the right) asks readers how long they think the recession will last.
