Description of trading activities
The Warehouse Group (TWG) consists of six core brands: The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, 1-Day, and TheMarket. Overall, TWG has 260+ stores around Āotearoa, New Zealand. TWG has a commitment to create ‘better-living’ for Kiwi’s whilst wanting to have the reputation of being a sustainable retail store.
CEO profile
Nick Grayston was appointed CEO of The Warehouse Group (TWG) in January, 2016. Moving to New Zealand from Chicago (United States of America) he brings experience in the retail industry having been a leader for Sears Holdings where he was a President of footwear, home, fine jewellery, and apparel. Grayston also previously held a role as a senior executive in the well known retailer ‘Foot Locker Inc’.

Joan Withers has been the Chair of The Warehouse Group since the 23rd of September, 2016. Wither was appointed with a plethora of experience in similar roles. Withers, has been a professional director for over 20 years, having worked in the media sector where she previously was the CEO for The Radio Network, and Fairfax media. Withers is also a director of ANZ Bank NZ Limited, Sky Network television, previously Television New Zealand Limited and Auckland International Airport.
