Description of trading activities

Channel Infrastructure (CHI), formerly known as NZ Refining, is New Zealand's leading fuel infrastructure company. Based in Mardsen, Northland CHI acts as a primary point for fuel imports helping to power the New Zealand economy. The three main customers of CHI are BP, Mobil, and Z-Energy. CHI was first established in 1962 and the first operations of the company started in 1964.

Rob Buchanan was previously the General Manager of Growth and Trading at Manawa Energy, who are a leading renewable electricity owner and developer. Buchanan has a passion for helping Energy, and Infrastructure companies to create value whilst navigating issues around the ever-changing industry. Before joining Manawa Energy, Buchanan had a 20-year career in investment banking and business advisory. Most recently in the role of Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Forsyth Barr in New Zealand. Buchanan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business with Distinction from the University of Otago. Buchanan has also completed an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Business.

Miller was also the previous Chair of the Board of NZX. Miller is a chartered accountant, a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Certified Securities Analyst Professional, a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand, and a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
