We are developing a new mortgage calculator. Have you bought your home in the past two years? Or are you an aspiring home owner? We need your help
getting ready to test a mortgage calculator

Interest.co.nz is developing a new type of mortgage calculator which includes a wider set of factors that make up a home loan’s real cost to the borrower.

We hope it will be a valuable resource that will help potential buyers understand the full financial implications of a purchase, free to use for any reader.

But we need a set of volunteers to help us road-test this new tool and check that will work as designed.

You would be asked to try a pre-release version and give us feedback on how easy it is to use, and whether it gives results that are meaningful.

We specifically would love to hear from these types of potential users:

- an aspiring first home buyer, or

- an actual first home buyer, having purchased within the past two years, or

- a homeowner borrower who has refinanced, refixed, or rolled over an existing home loan, or

- a front line active mortgage adviser.

The test-run would take place in our Auckland, Herne Bay offices. We will show you the tool and take notes on how well it works for you.

This would be done individually, not in a group, and would take about 20-30 minutes. We can’t pay you, but we can offer you a coffee and a Prezzy Card as a thank you.

If you would like to participate in this testing, please email david.chaston@interest.co.nz to let him know you would be interested.

We would love to hear from you.
