A one bedroom unit with carport fetched $395,000 while a St Mary's Bay house went for $4.275 million - see the full results of Bayleys latest auctions
This house at Greenhithe on Auckland's North Shore sold for $950,000 at Bayleys' latest auction.

If you had $400,000 to spend at Bayleys latest Auckland residential property auction you could have picked up a one bedroom unit with a carport in Ellerslie, or a 56 square metre apartment in town, but apart from that, most of the 82 properties that Bayleys put under the hammer this week would have been out of your price range.

Top price of the week was the $4.275 million paid for a modern St Mary's Bay house, while a beach front house at Omaha fetched $3.6 million, a Remuera house sold for $3.1 million, another in Ponsonby sold for $2.015 million and another down the road in Freemans Bay fetched $2.35 million.

If those were beyond your bank balance you could have picked up a house at Glenbrook Beach for $610,000, a townhouse in Conifer Grove for $491,000, a country cottage on a 5000 square metre section in Clevedon for $690,000, a Mt Wellington house for $785,000, or a four bedroom house with sleepout in Beach Haven for $760,000.
