PM - Elect backs farmers to save economy

"Currently the RMA has become skewed towards environmentalism as opposed to the environment. "Fed Farmers welcomed Mr Key's appointment of Tim Groser as Trade Minister and NZ's negotiator on climate change. I fully agree with Mr Key that NZ needs to get it right in the second commitment period for Kyoto. Mr Key made it clear his govt will not put NZ farmers out of business "˜just to get a gong from the UN.
