WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 closed the week higher, gaining +0.3% in today’s (Friday) session and finishing up +1.9% over the last five days. The index has risen +6.2% in the past six months and is up +3.9% year-on-year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
A total of 54 stocks advanced, led by Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) which surged +8% and is up +13% over the past week, though it remains down -51% year-on-year. Gentrack (GTK, #28) rose +5%, despite slipping -4% over the past five sessions and down -4% year-on-year. Hallenstein Glassons (HLG, #43) gained +3%, adding +7% over the past month and +42% year-on-year. Briscoes Group (BGP, #25) also climbed +3%, lifting +29% over six months and +24% compared to a year ago.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Meanwhile, 37 stocks declined. Fletcher Building (FBU, #14) fell -2% but remains up +4% over the week, +11% in the past month, and +17% year-on-year. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #46) slipped -1% after an +8% weekly rise, though it is down -17% year-on-year. SkyCity Entertainment (SKC, #42) lost -1%, extending its -23% drop in the past month and sitting -48% lower than a year ago. Serko (SKO, #49) also eased -1%, down -31% year-to-date and -19% year-on-year.

Fletcher Building (FBU, #14) has released its FY25 Remuneration Report, now available on the company’s website and attached to this announcement. The report will be subject to a non-binding resolution at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on 22 October 2025. Auckland International Airport (AIA) has amended the Chief Executive Remuneration section of its FY25 Annual Report to correct an error in the FY25 STI earned metric on pages 126 and 127. The corrected pages are attached, and the revised report is available if you click here.
