Economic weather report: Inflation expectations rising again

Data from surveys commissioned by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand show 44% of households now expected higher inflation, up from 39% three months ago and 20% at the beginning of the year. They also show businesses now expect inflation in two years of 2.61%, up from expectations the previous quarter for 2.25% inflation.
