How the latest unemployment figures could affect the next OCR cut

New Zealand's unemployment rate rose to 5% (seasonally adjusted) in the March quarter from 4.7% in December and 3.8% in March 2008, figures from Statistics New Zealand (Stats NZ show). The rise compared with economist expectations of 5.3%-5.4%.
