Bernard Hickey looks at the investing options now that bank term deposits are offering just 3-4% and finance companies are offering just 6-7%. Corporate bond issuers will be active this year and government guarantees for finance companies will expire next year. It's a complex picture for savers with low returns and plenty of risks.
