Auckland Airport raises NZ$130 mln in 8 year bond issue
Auckland Airport said today its NZ$130 million issue of 8 year bonds to the public had closed completely subscribed, which meant a maturing NZ$50 million issue had been refinanced and a further NZ$80 million had been raised. "We are extremely pleased at the overall success of the bond issue at a time of great financial uncertainty. We see the strength of the demand for the offer as a strong signal that investors view Auckland Airport as a relatively safe port in an economic storm," said Auckland Airport Chief Financial Officer Jason Dale.
