Long serving director Bruce Richards succeeds Elaine Gill as TSB chairman

TSB has named Bruce Richards, who has been on the bank's board since 1988, as its new chairman.
Richards replaces Elaine Gill who is retiring from the board having chaired TSB since 1998.
Murray Bain, an existing director, will become deputy chairman, succeeding Richards.
'Richards first joined the Bank's board in 1988 and has held the position of deputy chairman for just over 16 years."
"With a strong financial background, experience on a number of boards and a qualified chartered accountant, Bruce brings strong business acumen and an understanding of the financial services industry," TSB said.
