interest.co.nz needs a senior financial analyst with experience in banking, finance, bond market and managed funds. This is an exciting and varied role in business media - a rare one in New Zealand.
Supporting our team of journalists with original, insightful and on-demand analysis, you will also maintain our extensive databases, extending their capabilities as necessary - and lead the design, building, testing and implementation of new finance databases when needed.
You will work within an open team that has a wide range of skills. Your special contributions will come because you understand what is 'under the hood' in the worlds of banking, or investment banking, or funds management.
You hopefully are be a regular reader of interest.co.nz and know what our news and data focus is. So you will be integral is helping us deliver useful, valuable resources for our readers.
The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified, with experience within the financial industry.
They will be an advanced user of excel (including visual basic, macros and pivot tables) and be able to demonstrate significant analysis and modelling experience.

I am an avid reader of your articles that appear here. The experience you ask for is very much down my alley. Being a Chartered Financial Anaylst from India and nearly 27 years of banking experience. But you wouldn't want me, you need someone younger.
