We are still battling the auction gremlins

However the report will appear in full early next week.

This is especially bad news for the DGM's they are continually asking for "Proof of Life".

There was a comment yesterday about baiting people and how it’s impacting the comment section……

I wonder if some of you guys should get together for a Christmas party and sort out over a beer. With name tags of course.

The reality is that we have had a very weird series of events and any party could be “right”. Anyone that thinks they are 100% correct is lacking in critical analysis skills.

Less baiting, more banter.

Having a beer with some of the guys on here? I can't think of anything worse. I avoid the groups at parties that constantly drone on about house prices and investment properties.  Luckily I'm in the Manufacturing business so we tend to talk about interesting stuff (interesting to us anyway). Whose making what and which areas are doing well....it's a fun world out there if you are prepared to open your eyes.

Well I certainly don't come here to find people with a sense of humour obviously. If there continues to be housing related articles which there always will be because they attract the most comments by far you just have to take it as it comes. If you want something with name tags join a FaceBook group, currently I'm a member of 15 of them. By and large its pretty good banter on here considering its anonymous, I have had to drop several "Forums" in the past that are just full of dick heads and open abuse.

It's been a lot better since the moderators took the garbage out.    Listening to TA on Newstalk.....  he knows that swap rates will fall here, all the banks know lower rates are coming but their net margin is bloody near 260 points

This blip in the data reminds me of the homes.co website. How sales prices get buried with TBA. To Be Advised,,,, yeah sure mate.

Speculators would breathe a sigh of relief,  considering the disastrous sales over the week

Upper mid market sales?

That's a shockingly good sales rate

That means the total number of residential properties for sale on Realestate.co.nz at the end of November was up 45% compared to November last year.

But asking prices have gone in the opposite direction and headed down for the month.

Tommy: What's Property Investment?
Turkish: They set two lurchers - they're dogs, before you ask. On a hare. And the hare has to outrun the dogs.
Tommy: So, what if it doesn't?
Turkish: Well the last Investor gets ****ed, doesn't it.
Tommy:[pauses and thinks]  Proper ****ed?
Turkish: Yeah, Tommy. Before "Zee Germans" get there.

Two guys walk into a shop.

The first one looks to see what he can steal. The second guy isn't interested in stealing goods, he's hoping to get a steal

Perspective is everything
