Activity looked a bit healthier for the time of year at the latest auctions, with the number of residential properties on offer bouncing back up to 313, a 17.5% increase on the previous week.
However, the sales rate dropped to 37%, down from 41% the previous week.
That put the sales rate back to where it was over most of the winter months, so not much of a spring bounce there.
A notable feature of current auction activity is some apparent weakness in the Auckland market.
The number of Auckland residential properties offered at the auctions monitored by interest.co.nz has declined for three consecutive weeks, from 205 properties in the week of 12-18 September to 175 at the latest auctions, at a time of year when activity should be increasing.
The table below shows the latest results from around the regions.
Details of the individual properties offered at all of the auctions monitored by interest.co.nz, including the selling prices of those that sold, are available on our Residential Auction Results page.
