WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is trading +0.5% higher today, extending its five-day gain to +0.8%. The index has climbed +9.2% over the past six months and is up +8.5% year-on-year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
There were 45 gainers, led by Scales Corporation (SCL, #35), which rose +3%. The company’s share price is up +7% month-on-month and has surged +52% over the past year. Skellerup Holdings (SKL, #31), EBOS Group (EBO, #9), and Summerset Group Holdings (SUM, #17) each gained +2%. Skellerup is up +26% over six months and +15% year-on-year. EBOS has declined -23% over six months and -20% annually, while Summerset is up +10% over six months but down -3% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
There were 43 decliners, with Vulcan Steel (VSL, #27), Vital Healthcare Property Trust (VHP, #23), and Briscoe Group (BGP, #28) each easing -2%. Vital is up +16% over six months and +10% year-on-year. Briscoe has gained +5% for the month and +8% over the year. Hallenstein Glassons Group (HLG, #42) dipped -1%, but remains up +29% over six months and +32% year-on-year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Vital Healthcare Property Trust (VHP, #23) has confirmed the re-election of Angela Bull as an Independent Director at its Annual Meeting held on the 6th of November. The resolution passed with strong support, receiving 99.94% of votes in favour, 0.05% against, and 0.01% abstentions. All votes were conducted by poll and independently scrutineered by Deloitte.
Spark (SPK, #12) confirmed that all six resolutions at its Annual Meeting were passed by shareholder poll. Lindsay Wright, Tarek Robbiati, Vince Hawksworth, Jolie Hodson, and Justine Smyth were each re-elected as directors, with support ranging from 92.9% to 99.81%. Shareholders also approved the resolution authorising directors to fix the auditor’s remuneration for the coming year.
