BNZ raises 18 month term deposit rate to 4.75% to match TSB, HSBC

BNZ announced it had raised its 18 month term deposit rate by 5 basis points to 4.75% for deposits over NZ$10,000. The new rate is equal to the highest 18 month deposit rate offered by a bank in New Zealand, with HSBC offering 4.75% for deposits over NZ$100,000 and TSB offering the same rate for deposits over NZ$10,000.
