Vince Hawksworth is the CEO of Mercury NZ Limited and was appointed in March 2020. Hawksworth previously held roles as CEO for Trust Power, and Hydro Tasmania for 13 years prior. Hawksworth has an Executive MBA Master's degree from the University of Waikato and is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Hawksworth started his career in the energy sector, where he was based in Huntly, at the Power Station. Formerly also a leader in the demerger of Tilt Renewables from Trustpower and later oversaw the acquisition of Tilt's New Zealand assets by Mercury.
