The Chief executive officer and Co-Founder of Serko is Darrin Grafton. Darrin has 25 years of experience in the travel technology industry matched with his experience in technology commercialization. Grafton held senior management positions with Gullivers Travel Group, a company that was listed on the NZX and ASX indices from 2004-2006. In 2014, Grafton was named in the ‘Top 25 most influential executives in the business travel industry’ run by the American-based Business Travel News (BTN).

Graduating from Victory University with a LLB(Hons) and BCA, Batten has grown with major global experience with two highly successful entrepreneurial ventures. Batten’s first venture was called Massive Incorporated, a network for video gaming advertisement. In 2006, Massive was sold to Microsoft.
