A home unit in Pukekohe sells for $385,000 and an earthquake damaged house in Christchurch fetches $131,000 at Harcourts latest auctions

The cheapest "Auckland" homes auctioned by Harcourts last week were in Pukekohe where a two bedroom unit that was one of a block of three, sold for $385,000 and a four bedroom house sold as a "do up" fetched $595,000.

In Tauranga prices started at $320,000 for a house in Matua and in New Plymouth a 1960s, four bedroom house with mountain and sea views went for $423,000.

In Christchurch several earthquake damaged homes were sold "as is" with prices starting at $131,000 for one in Woolston and another at Ilam sold for $547,000.
