ANZ New Zealand, the country's biggest bank, is set for more changes to its leadership team.
It says a Chief Operating Officer role will be introduced, with this person reporting to the CEO. And the roles of Managing Director for Customer Propositions and the General Manager of Strategy and Execution, will be disestablished.
"Current Managing Director, Customer Propositions, Astrud Burgess, and General Manager, Strategy and Execution, Keren Roberts, will leave ANZ NZ on 27 November," the bank says.
ANZ NZ previously announced Ben Kelleher, its Chief Risk Officer, will succeed departing CEO Antonia Watson on October 1.
Before becoming Chief Risk Officer in April 2024, Kelleher was ANZ NZ's Managing Director for Personal Banking from 2019 to 2023, and has also led ANZ NZ’s private banking and strategy teams.
Watson became Acting CEO in May 2019 after the abrupt departure of David Hisco, and was confirmed as permanent CEO in December 2019.
