WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 lifts +0.4% so far in Wednesday trade, gaining +2.6% over the last five days. It’s now up +3.7% over the past month and +8.6% year-on-year,.
THE MAIN GAINERS
There are 57 gainers in the market today. Infratil (IFT, #4) leads the index, gaining +3% for the day, now up +2% over the last five days, +4% for the month, and +5% year-on-year. Auckland Airport (AIA, #3) has risen +3%, up +4% over the month, and despite a -8% dip over six months, it's down -20% for the year. a2 Milk (ATM, #9) also gained +3% today and is up +3% for the week and +37% over six months, gaining +20% over the last year. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #45) climbs +1%, up +3% over the week, +13% for the month, and +31% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Among the 33 decliners, Gentrack (GTK, #24) leads the losers, falling -2% today and -4% over the week. It’s still up +4% over the month and +22% year-on-year. Vulcan Steel (VSL, #32) drops -2%, down -2% for the week but still up +7% over the month and +29% year-on-year. Skellerup (SKL, #30) falls -1% today, though it remains up +4% for the month and +8% year-on-year. Tourism Holdings (THL, #43) dips -1%, but remains up +1% for the month, +12% over six months, and +24% year-on-year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Channel Infrastructure (CHI, #31) will release its half-year results for the six months ending 30 June 2025 on Tuesday, 26 August. CEO Rob Buchanan and CFO Alexa Preston will present the financial and operational performance at 10:30am NZT that day.
Blis Technologies (BLT) has resolved a patent dispute with Bluestone Pharma GmbH (BSP) and Lactosan GmbH & Co. KG. The parties have agreed to joint ownership of the relevant patent applications, and have released all claims related to the matter. Blis has also signed a five-year extension to its existing supply agreement with BSP, which was set to expire this month.
