KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Warehouse Group (WHS) has announced two senior executive appointments. Stefan Knight, previously Financial Director at Spark NZ, will join as Group Chief Financial Officer on 11 August 2025, bringing extensive experience in finance and operational performance. Silv Roest, currently General Counsel and Company Secretary, has been promoted to Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer, effective 1 August 2025. Roest, who joined the company in 2024, will continue as Company Secretary and expand her role to lead legal, compliance, and corporate affairs. CEO Mark Stirton welcomed both appointments as part of the Group's continued leadership strengthening.

Fletcher Building (FBU, #14) has launched a new quarterly update series providing indexed sales volume data across core products such as plasterboard, concrete pipe, frame and truss, aggregates, cement, and residential sales. Managing Director and CEO Andrew Reding noted that volumes peaked in FY22 but have steadily declined since, reflecting challenging conditions in FY25. While volumes are now stabilising, Fletcher does not expect a meaningful recovery until FY27. The initiative aims to improve transparency and shareholder insight across Fletcher’s operating portfolio.
