WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is down, currently -0.7%, unchanged over the past week. Month-on-month it has gained +0.5%, up +8.5% year-on-year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
There ware just 16 gainers in today’s session. Briscoe Group (BGP, #31) rose +2%, although the stock remains down -2% over the past five trading sessions. Year-on-year, BGP has gained +4%. EBOS Group (EBO, #10) edged up +1%, despite falling -7% month-on-month and declining -38% over the past year. Summerset Group Holdings (SUM, #18) also added +1%, though the stock is down -10% over the past month and -16% year-on-year. Ryman Healthcare (RYM, #19) similarly advanced +1%, but remains down -14% month-on-month and -23% compared with the same time last year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Meanwhile, 57 stocks declined during the session. Tourism Holdings (THL, #42) led the losses, falling -3%, leaving the stock down -8% over the past five days but still up +33% year-on-year. Fletcher Building (FBU, #14) eased -2%, extending its monthly decline to -8%, while remaining up +2% annually. Infratil (IFT, #4) also dropped -2%, with the stock down -9% over the past six months but up +4% year-on-year. Napier Port Holdings (NPH, #39) declined -2%, although it continues to hold a strong +38% gain over the past year.
