WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is currently at a -0.8% decline today, shifting its decline over the past five trading days to -1.0% and its monthly decline to -1.3%. Despite the recent weakness, the benchmark is up +4.7% over the past six months and +3.3% over the past year. The market is negative, with 46 decliners compared with 39 gainers.
THE MAIN GAINERS
Among the gainers, NZX (NZX, #47) rose +3%, taking its monthly gain to +1% and leaving it +8% higher over the past six months and +6% year-on-year. Turners Automotive (TRA, #38) gained +1%, extending its five-day increase to +1%, although it stays down -6% over the past month and -7% over six months, while it was up +12% year-on-year. Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) added +1%, taking its five-day gain to +15% and monthly increase to +11%, although the stock continues down -42% over six months and -49% year-on-year. Channel Infrastructure (CHI, #23) lifted +1%, although it was down -2% over the past five trading days, while it remains +3% higher over the past month, but was down -28% over six months and -47% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Among the decliners, Fletcher Building (FBU, #12) fell -2%, extending its five-day decline to -4%, although it's +1% higher over the past month, +13% higher over six months and +21% year-on-year. Goodman Property (GNZ, #16) declines -2%, taking its five-day loss to -3% and monthly decline to -3%, while it's +3% higher over both six months and year-on-year. Stride Property Group (SPG, #42) decreased -2%, extending its five-day decline to -7% and monthly decline to -8%, while it was down -9% over six months and -17% year-on-year. Skellerup Holdings (SKL, #22) fell -2%, taking its five-day decline to -3%, although +2% higher over the past month, +36% higher over six months and +48% year-on-year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Precinct Properties (PCT, #20) said the sale of its PwC Tower to a new investment partnership with PAG is now unconditional after the partnership obtained the required consents. Settlement is expected to take place on the 30th of September.
Manuka Resources (MKR) has reported high-grade gold assay results from its completed 56-hole, 3,133-metre RC drilling programme at the Pipeline Ridge Project in the Cobar Basin. Key intersections included 32m at 7.98g/t Au from 34m, 8m at 12.96g/t Au from 37m and 5m at 8.59g/t Au from 37m. The mineralisation remains open at depth, across section and along strike, with further drilling planned for October 2026. Manuka will now progress a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Pipeline Ridge, which could become a future satellite source of gold feed for its Wonawinta processing facility, where processing of Mt Boppy ore has recently restarted.
