Chart watch: NZ$ gains about 10% in March

Closing exchange rates this week represent significant appreciation of our currency since the beginning of the month. On a trade-weighted basis, the NZ$ is up 10.7% over the month so far. Against the US dollar, the yen, and the British pound, the gain so far is about 14%. Against the euro, it is 8%.
