That would be good. Up until now, banks have created 'money' out of nothing, then soaked real work-driven wealth from everyone else. It's been the rort of all time, but growth is in trouble now, and if the banks continue soaking, someone else is going to continue being disadvantaged.

Exactly my though - and probably explains why we need a larger capital buffers.
