Sentiment towards banking sector improving, UBS says

Sentiment towards the banking sector, especially in so-called developed countries, is improving with the main risk this year seen as the macro-economic growth outlook, according to a report from UBS.

The report, by UBS' British based strategist Philip Finch and analyst Peter Carter, is compiled from responses to a survey by UBS banking analysts who cover more than 200 banks in 37 countries including the Australian parents of New Zealand's big four banks.
