WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 as fallen -0.2% so far today, now down -1.3% over the past six months but still up +6.6% year-on-year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
Despite the overall decline, 42 companies are in the green. Goodman Property Trust (GMT, #15) has gained +3% and sits flat for the year. Argosy Property (ARG, #30) also has climbed +3%, up +13% over the past six months and +15% year-to-date. Stride Property Group (SPG, #38) lifted +2%, up +4% across the past five days. Year-to-date, Stride is down -6%, but just edges into positive territory year-on-year at +1%. Infratil (IFT, #4) has risen +2%, gaining +4% over the past five days but still down -2% for the year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
39 stocks decline, led by SkyCity Entertainment (SKC, #37) which drops -3%. While it gained +7% over the past five days, SkyCity remains down -31% over six months and -34% year-on-year. The Warehouse Group (WHS, #49) fell -2%, continuing its -20% six-month slide and now down -15% year-on-year. a2 Milk (ATM, #9) also shed -2%, declining -9% in the past five days but holding a +4% gain from this time last year. Sky Network Television (SKT, #47) lost -2% today, down -4% over the week, though still up +14% year-on-year.
